• Start with a half sheet of cardstock measuring 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”.
• Score and fold in half at 4 1/4” to create a standard card base.
• Fold the front flap back toward the left edge at 2 3/4”, creating a Z-fold effect.
2. Front Panel:
• Cut a piece of cardstock measuring 4” x 5 1/4”.
• Stamp the image and sentiment on this piece using navy blue ink.
• Adhere the stamped panel to the front folded flap.
3. Ribbon and Bow:
• Use navy blue and gold ribbon to tie a bow.
• Attach the bow next to the stamped sentiment on the front panel.
4. Embellishments:
• Add gems to the front panel as desired for extra sparkle.
5. Inside Panel:
• Cut another piece of cardstock measuring 4” x 5 1/4”.
• Stamp your inside sentiment on this piece.
• Adhere the stamped inside panel to the inside of the card base.

Thank you so much for joining me today for Fun Fold Friday! I had an absolute blast creating this fun and interactive shadowbox card using the Otterly Adorable Otters Suite. These playful otters make such a charming focal point, and I couldn’t resist adding a few fun elements to bring their underwater world to life. 🦦✨

Materials Needed:
•Base cardstock: 5 1/2” x 10 1/2”
•Front panel cardstock: 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”
•Designer Series Paper (DSP) for inside panel: 3 1/4” x 5 1/4”
•Designer Series Paper (DSP) for front panel: 4” x 5 1/4”
White Cardstock for the inside sentiment 3 ¼ x 5 1/4
Instructions:
1.Score the base cardstock:
•Score at 1 inch, 4 inches, 4 1/2 inches, and 8 inches along the 10 1/2” side.
2.Prepare the inside panel:
•Take the 3 1/4” x 5 1/4” piece of Designer Series Paper.
•Glue this piece to the inside panel of the base.
•Using a circle die or punch, cut out a circle in the center of this panel to create the shadowbox effect.
3.Prepare the front panel:
•Take the 4” x 5 1/4” piece of Designer Series Paper.
•Adhere it to the 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” front panel cardstock.
4.Assemble the shadowbox:
•Fold along the scored lines to form the shadowbox structure.
•Take the 1/2-inch tab (between the 4” and 4 1/2” score lines) and apply glue. Attach this tab to the front panel.
•When the card is closed, it forms the shadow box shape.
5.Decorate:
•Decorate the shadowbox and front panel as desired, featuring the adorable otter and any additional embellishments.
This will create a dimensional shadow box card with a fun interactive element.

Prepare the Card Base: • Take the 8 1/2” x 5 1/4” cardstock and score at 1/2” and 4 1/2”. • Fold along the score lines, creating a narrow flap and a larger section. 2. Adhere the Flap: • Apply adhesive to the 1/2” scored section and attach it to the inside of the card base. This forms a pocket for the slider. 3. Punch Holes: • Punch a hole in the center of the top of the 3 3/4” x 5 1/4” white cardstock (inside slider piece). • Punch a matching hole in the top center of the card base, aligning with the previous hole. 4. Add Ribbon for the Slider: • Thread ribbon through both holes. • Tie the ribbon securely around the 3 3/4” x 5 1/4” piece to create the slider mechanism. 5. Decorate the Front: • Attach the 3 3/4” x 5” white piece to the front of the card base. • Embellish with gems, ribbon, or other decorations. 6. Final Assembly: • Slide the 3 3/4” x 5 1/4” piece (with ribbon) into the pocket created in Step 2. • Adjust and secure as needed to ensure smooth sliding.
