This is your last chance to stock up on your favorite products at a discount.Also, check out our upcoming classes—there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned crafter.Happy crafting, and I can’t wait to see what you create!Materials: • Card base: 8 1/2” x 5 1/4” • Two pieces of white cardstock: • 3 3/4” x 5 1/4” (inside slider) • 3 3/4” x 5” (front of the card) • Ribbon • Gems and other embellishments • Hole punch • AdhesiveInstructions: 1. Prepare the Card Base: • Take the 8 1/2” x 5 1/4” cardstock and score at 1/2” and 4 1/2”. • Fold along the score lines, creating a narrow flap and a larger section. 2. Adhere the Flap: • Apply adhesive to the 1/2” scored section and attach it to the inside of the card base. This forms a pocket for the slider. 3. Punch Holes: • Punch a hole in the center of the top of the 3 3/4” x 5 1/4” white cardstock (inside slider piece). • Punch a matching hole in the top center of the card base, aligning with the previous hole. 4. Add Ribbon for the Slider: • Thread ribbon through both holes. • Tie the ribbon securely around the 3 3/4” x 5 1/4” piece to create the slider mechanism. 5. Decorate the Front: • Attach the 3 3/4” x 5” white piece to the front of the card base. • Embellish with gems, ribbon, or other decorations. 6. Final Assembly: • Slide the 3 3/4” x 5 1/4” piece (with ribbon) into the pocket created in Step 2. • Adjust and secure as needed to ensure smooth sliding.
