Product Share Thursday: Serene Love Cards

Today for Product Share Thursday, I created three quick and easy cards featuring the stunning new Serene Love 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper in Old Olive, Night of Navy, and Lost Lagoon. I love how beautifully this paper pairs with coordinating ribbons, gems, and die-cut sentiments for an effortlessly elegant look.

Here’s how I made them:

• I cut the cardstock bases to 4 1/4” x 11”, scoring them in half.

• Each card is layered with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4” x 5 1/4”.

• The Designer Series Paper is trimmed to 3 3/4” x 5”. I cut a 2-inch strip off the bottom and flipped it to use the reverse side, creating a coordinated design.

To embellish the cards:

• I used Night of Navy & Gold Ribbon, Pretty Peacock & Gold Ribbon, and the Iridescent Striped Trim for a touch of shimmer.

• The finishing touch? Gems from the Three Tinsel Pack and the Pecan Pie & Clear Gems.

• For the sentiments, I used the Mix Label Bundle for the dies and stamped them with coordinating sentiments—this bundle is coming January 7, and I can’t wait for you to try it!

These cards came together so quickly, and I love how elegant they turned out! Perfect for any occasion.

Z-Fold Easel Fan Card with Floral Delight Suite & Measurement

 Thank you so much for joining me today for Fun Fold Friday! It was such a joy to create a Z-Fold Easel Fan Card using the beautiful Floral Delight Suite. I had so much fun designing this card and showcasing the versatility of this stunning suite.

I hope you enjoyed the process and feel inspired to create your own version. As always, I love seeing the measurements are below 

Directions for Creating a Z-Fold Easel Fan Card:

Materials Needed:

• Cardstock: Two pieces of 4 1/4” x 11”

• Designer Series Paper (DSP):

• One piece 4” x 5 1/4”

• One piece 2 1/2” x 4”

• One piece 4” x 4”

• Basic White Cardstock: One piece 4” x 5 1/4”

• Sentiments, die-cuts, and embellishments (e.g., flowers, trinkets, bow)

• Scoring tool, adhesive, and scissors

Steps to Create the Card:

1. Create the Base:

• Take one piece of 4 1/4” x 11” cardstock and score it in half at 5 1/2”.

• Take the second piece of 4 1/4” x 11” cardstock and score it at 2 3/4” and 5 1/2” to create

a Z-fold.

2. Assemble the Card:

• Fold both pieces of cardstock on the score lines.

• Adhere the 2 3/4” panel of the Z-fold piece to the front of the base card, aligning the folds

to create a double-layer Z-fold card.

3. Add Designer Series Paper Layers:

• Attach the 4” x 5 1/4” DSP to the middle panel of the Z-fold card.

• Attach the 2 1/2” x 4” DSP to the front panel of the Z-fold card.

4. Add a White Panel:

• Adhere the 4” x 5 1/4” white cardstock to the back panel for your stamped sentiment or

message.

5. Create the Fan Element:

• Take the 4” x 4” DSP and score it at 1/2” intervals across the entire piece.

• Accordion-fold along the score lines to create a fan shape.

• Adhere one edge of the fan to the 2 3/4” Z-fold panel, ensuring the fan opens and adds

dimension.

6. Decorate the Card:

• Add a sentiment and images to the front panel and tie a bow over the fan for an elegant

touch.

• Embellish the middle panel with die-cuts of flowers and another sentiment.

• Finish off the design by adding trinkets or small embellishments for a polished look.

Your Z-fold fan card is now complete, ready to impress with its unique fold and decorative layers!

One Sheet Wonder Wildflower Birthday suite

Welcome to One Sheet Wonder with the Wildflower Birthday Suite!

Today, I’m diving into the gorgeous Wildflower Birthday Suite to show you how versatile one sheet of Designer Series Paper can be. With just one sheet, I’m creating not only beautiful birthday cards but also coordinating birthday tags!

Here’s the plan:

• I’ll cut the Designer Series Paper into sections and layer them onto card bases.

• Add embellishments, stamped sentiments, and some sparkling Glimmer Paper for extra flair.

• Use the intricate die cuts from the suite to enhance the designs.

• Use the leftover pieces to create unique, coordinating tags for gift bags or presents.

This suite is perfect for creating cheerful and elegant birthday projects. It’s amazing how far one sheet can go when you get creative! The addition of glimmer and die cuts really takes the designs to the next level. Stay tuned to see the finished results and all the details!
