Gift Card Holder – Instructions

1. Base of the Card

• Start with ½ sheet of cardstock (4¼” x 11”).

• Score on the long side at:

• 1”

• 5¼”

• Fold on the score lines.

• On the 1” flap, add glue only along the small edges and adhere it down — leave the center

open to create the slot for your gift card.

2. Designer Series Paper

• Cut DSP to 3” x 5¼”.

• Glue this piece to the front of your card base.

3. Embossed Front Panel

• Emboss a piece of Basic White cardstock.

• Trim it to 2¾” x 2¾”.

• Layer and glue this piece to the front center of your card.

4. Die-Cut Elements

• Use your detailed dies to cut out:

• A heart

• An arrow

• Glue both pieces onto the embossed square on the card front.

5. Banner & Sentiment

• Die-cut your small banner.

• Stamp your sentiment on the banner.

• Add it to the card front using Dimensionals.

• Tie a bow and add it to the banner or beside it.

6. Embellishments

• Add your loose gems to the card front for sparkle.

7. Inside of the Card

• Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 3” x 5¼”.

• Stamp your inside sentiment.

• Glue it to the inside of the card.

Crafting with NEW Products

I just couldn’t wait to play with some of my new products—even though they’re for Valentine’s Day, you can never start making cards too early!

Today I created a few sweet projects using the Valentine Kisses Bundle, the beautiful Lovely Doilies, and the brand-new Love Notes Mix & Match 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper.

These products work so perfectly together—cute, flirty, and fun! The mix-and-match paper makes designing easy, the doilies add that delicate touch, and the Valentine Kisses images are just adorable. I’m already dreaming up more ideas!

Christmas Gift Card Holder Fun Fold Friday & Measurements

Z-Fold Gift Card Holder Instructions

1. Base Card

• Cut a piece of cardstock to 4¼” x 11”.

• Score at 5½” (halfway) and again at 2⅛”.

• Fold on both score lines to create a Z-fold, turning the smaller front flap inward.

2. Inside Designer Series Paper

• Cut a piece of DSP to 4” x 5¼”.

• Glue this to the large inside panel of the card base.

3. Outside & Inside Small Panels

• Cut two pieces of DSP to 2¼” x 4”.

• Glue one piece on the front small flap (outside).

• Glue the other piece on the inside small flap.

4. Inside Sentiment Layer

• Cut a piece of cardstock to 2¼” x 4”.

• Stamp your inside sentiment on this piece.

• Layer it on top of the DSP inside the card (the panel opposite the gift card).

5. Gift Card Tab

• Use a circle punch to create a small half-circle notch on the edge of the inside sentiment panel or on an added pocket piece—where the gift card will slide in.

• Glue only the two side edges and bottom edge to create a pocket for the gift card.

(Leave the top open.)

6. Front Decoration

• Decorate the card front with:

• Your stamped sentiment

• Die-cuts

• Ribbon

• Gems

• This finishes your beautiful and easy Z-Fold Gift Card Holder!
